Moniker.com, a Pompano Beach, Fla.-based domain name registrar and reseller, has announced that the domain porn.com has recently sold for $9.5 million dollars, second only to the $12 million paid for the sex.com domain. Porn.com was purchased by Detroit based MXN, Ltd with interests in downloadpass.com and pimproll.com, both providers of adult movie downloads.
Although the traffic statistics were not available, it is understood that porn.com is ranked in the top 25 sites on the internet
