Doom for office gamers

jack | Uncategorized | Thursday, December 14th, 2006

Your boss, who was always trying to catch you playing computer games at work, seems to be happier these days and rarely checks to see if you are wasting company time by gaming while at work. Maybe he/she has just given up trying to catch you, especially since you got that quick hide application installed on your desktop, or maybe they have installed Sophos new Anti-Virus + Application Control.
Starting in January 2007, the Sophos Application Control will not only be able to identify games on your desktop, but also disable them.
The initial list will identify over 25 of the most popular computer games including - The Sims 2 (EA Games), FIFA 07 (EA Sports) and Football Manager 2007 (Sega) and my favorite, Flight Simulator (Microsoft). Sophos spokesperson confirmed that the list of identified and disabled games will grow in the coming months.
Oh, I know you are upset, but you knew that sooner or later they were going to bring your Doom down.
