Am I the only one who is noticing gas prices heading north?
I bring this up because when prices were in the $2.02 / $2.08 range, I was talking with the attendant at a gas station, who was somewhat challenged by the english language (no, I am not suggesting he was stupid). He said it was good to have the prices down, but then he said “watch what happens after the elections - gas prices are going back up again”. I thought that was an interesting observation from someone new to the US, so I watched. Hmmm, seems we have moved from the $2.02 / $2.08 range to $2.17 to 2.19. So in seventeen days the price has moved up 11¢.
Do you think our politian’s would find some way to drop gas prices just to give us a false sense of euphoria just for the elections?

Hmmm, I’m way outside the norm of this blog today…must have been too much turkey
